RAASPS - Police Science

As a reminder, students receive 30 credit hours towards the AAS Police Science degree upon completion of:

1) a New Mexico Department of Public Safety basic or NMDPS-approved satellite police certification training academy,

OR

2) the United States Border Patrol Basic Training Program (USBPI), the Federal Air Marshal Basic Training Program (FAMTP), or the Land Management Basic Police Training Program (LMPT)

Therefore, the degree can be completed in two semesters of full-time courses. Alternatively, students can complete the degree over a series of semesters of part-time enrollment to fit their work schedules.
